Adding a touch of fall to various spots in my house is always something I enjoy. This foyer table serves as a welcoming vignette as soon as you enter my home. I think it sets a warm, inviting tone for the season. I love pulling together a look by adding in pieces that, at first glance, might not seem to go together, but after adding pieces, taking some away and adding in others, I got a look I love.
Other than the scarecrow and grapevine pumpkin, I already had everything else. Those two items cost a total of five dollars, half price at JoAnn’s for the pumpkin and The Dollar Tree for the scarecrow. I love when that happens!
I cut a long strip of burlap ribbon to serve as a runner. The cream colored white pitcher works great as a vase. For now, I’m using silk flowers, but I’ll change them to real ones whenever I’m welcoming guests into my home. On the bottom shelf, I have a metal pineapple candle holder. I learned years ago when I moved to beautiful Charleston, SC that having a hospitality pineapple is just about a requirement here!
I couldn’t resist this little guy when I saw him a few days ago. He’s adorable and adds a little whimsical touch.
I found an old frame for my burlap fall print that works perfectly for it. If you’d like to print it, I’ve uploaded it for you. You can download and print it from here:

I added a couple of felt rosettes to the frame to match the colors.
The grapevine pumpkin, foam pumpkin and tapers in glass candle holders complete the look. Little details like tying some twine around the candle holders helps to keep the look cohesive.
Do you have special spots in your home that you always decorate seasonally? This table is home to lots of make-overs throughout the year for me.
