- 18 inch wire wreath frame
- Burlap mesh ribbon
- Burlap ribbon with stars
I found these embellishment picks at Michaels. The metal star and twigs are perfect for this look. It has a long stem which I threaded through the mesh to secure.
The bow is what really makes this wreath pop. It’s such a simple to make bow. My instructions can be found here. Different types of ribbon will give you lots of different looks. You’ll need a minimum of three strips of ribbon and a stapler.
Once the bow was completed, I used my hot glue gun to attach it to the mesh. There had to be some hot glue involved! This ribbon was very heavy and the weight caused it to droop a bit. That problem was solved by using a piece of twine, wrapped around the bow and then around the wreath and tied off in back. It was easy to tuck the twine out of sight. Another piece of twine was used to make a loop for hanging.
We party with some awesome bloggers. We’ll be sharing this at lots of these great parties.
